FAQ
Answers to your key questions.
Yes. Alyza was developed with the European market in mind and complies with GDPR requirements. Data is processed exclusively in data centers located in Western Europe. Personal data is anonymized before being analyzed by AI. We also provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and support you in implementing the platform in compliance with data protection regulations.
Alyza’s modules build on one another and are designed as an integrated platform. Analyza creates transparency around customer interactions and generates the KPIs and insights that Optimyza uses. Optimyza supports employees with AI-powered recommendations while also providing the foundation for Automyza to automate recurring processes. This creates a seamless path from analysis and assistance to automation.
Yes. Alyza can be integrated into existing telephony and contact center systems. It connects primarily through standardized APIs, so your existing infrastructure does not need to be replaced or fundamentally modified. Alyza acts as an intelligent layer within your existing system landscape, enhancing it with AI-powered analytics, assistants, and automation.
No. Alyza complements existing telephony, CRM, and contact center solutions and integrates into your current system landscape. Companies can continue using their existing infrastructure.
Alyza’s technical integration can be completed within a few hours. Because Alyza operates as an intelligent AI layer on top of your existing infrastructure, no changes to your current systems are required. In most cases, we only need the necessary access permissions for existing APIs or data sources. This often means that active support from a technician is not even required.
Alyza is implemented using an agile approach based on your actual customer interactions. First, we jointly define the technical integration, required metadata and business setup. Alyza then processes the initial data, allowing us to validate the results together immediately. Based on this feedback, the AI setup is iteratively optimized and fine-tuned until the analysis quality meets your requirements. Only then is the full data set processed. This creates a solution tailored to your business and use cases within just a few days.
The first analysis results are available as soon as the initial customer interactions have been processed. Together, we review the results and iteratively optimize the AI setup based on your actual data. This gives you valuable insights from the very beginning of the project and a solution that is refined step by step to meet your requirements.
During implementation, a dedicated Customer Success Manager serves as your main point of contact. They support you with technical integration, business setup and the ongoing optimization of the platform. Through regular check-ins, we ensure that Alyza is not only successfully implemented but also delivers the desired results for your business. We see ourselves as a long-term partner – not just a technology provider.
Yes. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in accordance with the GDPR is an integral part of our business relationship whenever personal data is processed. It defines data protection responsibilities and provides a legally compliant basis for using Alyza. Together with automatic anonymization and data processing in data centers in Western Europe, it forms a key part of our data protection framework.
Alyza supports you with a comprehensive data protection and security framework. This includes the automatic anonymization of personal data before AI analysis, a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in accordance with the GDPR, data processing in data centers in Western Europe, and technical and organizational measures such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access controls, and regular employee training. We also work closely with our Data Protection Officer to ensure ongoing compliance with data protection requirements.
Alyza protects your data through a multi-layered security framework. Data is processed in a private cloud environment hosted in Microsoft Azure West Europe. Strict access controls with role-based permissions, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and the automatic anonymization of personal data before AI analysis ensure a high level of cybersecurity.
Yes. Alyza is suitable for companies with stringent data protection and information security requirements. We have experience working in regulated industries and critical infrastructure environments. Depending on your security, compliance, and IT requirements, various deployment and security options are available, allowing us to select the right approach for your organization.
Alyza helps companies comply with internal and regulatory requirements. This includes the automatic anonymization of personal data, role-based access controls, complete traceability of analytical results, and secure data processing in data centers located in Western Europe. Together, we align the platform with your specific compliance, data protection, and cybersecurity requirements.
Alyza’s pricing consists of three components: a one-time onboarding fee, a monthly platform license and variable usage-based costs. Around 80% of the ongoing costs are variable and depend on actual usage. This allows the pricing model to scale flexibly with your business, so you mainly pay for the services you actually use.
Yes. Alyza grows with your company’s needs. The platform is modular and can be expanded step by step. The modules build on each other: Analyza provides the foundation, Optimyza uses the insights gained, and Automyza builds on them to automate processes. This creates a seamless path forward rather than isolated solutions.
Yes. Alyza is scalable and grows with your company’s needs. Additional users, teams or modules can be added at any time without having to reimplement the platform.
No. Your data is neither used to train AI models nor shared with third parties for training purposes. It is processed exclusively for the agreed use cases. Your data remains your property at all times and is processed in accordance with the agreed data protection and security requirements.
No. Alyza does not require historical data or extensive model training before delivering initial results. Once technically integrated, the platform immediately processes current customer interactions. The AI setup is then validated and optimized based on actual results – eliminating the need for extensive pre-training with historical data.
To use Alyza, customer interactions such as calls, emails or chats need to be available digitally. For phone calls, recordings and compliance with applicable data protection and information requirements are generally necessary. Depending on your organization, coordination with data protection, the works council or IT may also be required. We support you throughout the implementation to ensure all business, technical and organizational requirements are in place.
Alyza requires customer interactions and—depending on the use case—additional metadata such as the date, hotline, team, language, or processing status. Together, we determine which information is needed to achieve your objectives. Only the data required for the agreed use cases is processed.
In addition to the customer interactions themselves, Alyza can incorporate a wide range of metadata from existing systems. This can include the hotline, team, location, language, product, processing status, customer group, and other custom information. These details allow analyses to be filtered, compared, and aggregated precisely.
Yes. Customer consent (opt-in) is required to record phone calls. Depending on the applicable legal and operational requirements, employees may also need to meet certain conditions before recordings can be made. We support you in working with your Data Protection Officer and, where applicable, your works council to establish the necessary framework for using Alyza.
This depends on the company’s operational framework and the applicable co-determination regulations. In many companies, the works council is involved at an early stage, which we strongly support. Alyza accommodates different works agreements—for example, by limiting analyses to the team or location level—and supports companies during implementation with extensive project experience.
This depends on the intended use cases. Most projects connect telephony, email, chat, CRM, or ticketing systems. Integration is primarily handled through standardized APIs or, alternatively, through secure data exchange with Alyza’s private cloud.
Successful Alyza projects typically involve business teams, IT, data protection and quality management. We also recommend involving employee representative bodies, such as the works council, at an early stage. This helps address data protection, compliance and co-determination requirements early on while building employee acceptance of the solution. Open communication from the start lays the foundation for effective change management and a sustainable platform rollout. Throughout the project, a dedicated Alyza Customer Success Manager serves as your main point of contact.
Most telephony and contact center systems already meet the technical requirements for using Alyza. Ideally, calls should be provided as WAV files with a sampling rate of at least 16 kHz, 16-bit PCM, and stereo recording with separate channels for the agent and customer. Mono audio and compressed formats such as MP3 can also be processed but are not recommended. For optimal results, the original audio recordings should be transferred without subsequent format conversion. Alyza can also import metadata such as the call timestamp, agent, team, hotline, queue, language, duration, and other customer-specific information. This allows analyses to be filtered and evaluated precisely and linked with existing systems. Alyza connects via APIs or secure data exchange, without requiring changes to the existing telephony infrastructure.
Alyza analyzes both inbound and outbound customer interactions. These include service, sales, complaints, advisory, and support conversations, as well as other types of communication across multiple channels.
