Data Privacy
Yes. Alyza was developed with the European market in mind and complies with GDPR requirements. Data is processed exclusively in data centers located in Western Europe. Personal data is anonymized before being analyzed by AI. We also provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and support you in implementing the platform in compliance with data protection regulations.
Yes. Alyza automatically anonymizes personal data before generative AI analyzes a customer interaction. The generative AI processes only anonymized transcripts and never comes into contact with personal or sensitive data. This enables Alyza to combine modern AI technology with high standards of data protection and cybersecurity.
Calls and other customer interactions generally contain personal data. This content is first transcribed and then automatically anonymized. Only after anonymization does generative AI analyze the interaction based on the anonymized transcript. The original data is used exclusively for technically necessary processing and is not processed by generative AI.
By default, Alyza stores data for a maximum of two years. Shorter retention periods or custom deletion policies can be implemented upon request to meet your company’s legal obligations, internal policies, and compliance requirements.
Yes. Audio recordings and transcripts are automatically deleted according to the retention periods defined by your company. This ensures that legal requirements and internal data protection and compliance policies are implemented reliably and transparently. Your data remains the property of your company at all times.
Yes. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in accordance with the GDPR is an integral part of our business relationship whenever personal data is processed. It defines data protection responsibilities and provides a legally compliant basis for using Alyza. Together with automatic anonymization and data processing in data centers in Western Europe, it forms a key part of our data protection framework.
At Alyza, access to customer data is clearly regulated and restricted to a small number of authorized individuals. Data is accessed only when necessary and in compliance with the agreed data protection and security requirements. This ensures that you retain full control over your data at all times.
Personal and sensitive data is automatically anonymized before the generative AI analyzes a customer interaction. The original conversation is processed exclusively for transcription in a technically secure speech-to-text component. Only then does the generative AI analyze the anonymized transcripts and never comes into contact with personal or sensitive data.
Alyza supports you with a comprehensive data protection and security framework. This includes the automatic anonymization of personal data before AI analysis, a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in accordance with the GDPR, data processing in data centers in Western Europe, and technical and organizational measures such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access controls, and regular employee training. We also work closely with our Data Protection Officer to ensure ongoing compliance with data protection requirements.
No. Your data is neither used to train AI models nor shared with third parties for training purposes. It is processed exclusively for the agreed use cases. Your data remains your property at all times and is processed in accordance with the agreed data protection and security requirements.
Yes. Customer consent (opt-in) is required to record phone calls. Depending on the applicable legal and operational requirements, employees may also need to meet certain conditions before recordings can be made. We support you in working with your Data Protection Officer and, where applicable, your works council to establish the necessary framework for using Alyza.
This depends on the company’s operational framework and the applicable co-determination regulations. In many companies, the works council is involved at an early stage, which we strongly support. Alyza accommodates different works agreements—for example, by limiting analyses to the team or location level—and supports companies during implementation with extensive project experience.

This gives companies a complete view of their customer communications and enables them to compare and evaluate insights across all channels.
Alyza supports the analysis of customer interactions in more than 100 languages, making the platform suitable for international companies and multilingual service organizations. All interactions are analyzed consistently, regardless of language.
Yes. Dashboards and analyses can be filtered by team, location, or other organizational units. This makes differences, trends, and best practices transparent, enabling companies to compare service quality objectively and improve it systematically.
Alyza is suitable for both medium-sized businesses and large organizations with multiple teams and locations. Its modular architecture allows the platform to be adapted flexibly to company size, contact volumes, and individual requirements.
The dashboard structure is standardized and based on best practices from a wide range of customer projects. Elements such as contact reasons, tags, coaching tips, and other AI-powered analyses can be configured individually. This allows companies to benefit from a proven dashboard structure while receiving analyses tailored to their specific requirements. Additional customizations can be implemented flexibly through the AI assistant.
Yes. Different teams, departments, or business units can be structured within the platform and analyzed separately, while maintaining a shared view of all customer communications.
Alyza analyzes both inbound and outbound customer interactions. These include service, sales, complaints, advisory, and support conversations, as well as other types of communication across multiple channels.
Integration
Yes. Alyza can be integrated into existing telephony and contact center systems. It connects primarily through standardized APIs, so your existing infrastructure does not need to be replaced or fundamentally modified. Alyza acts as an intelligent layer within your existing system landscape, enhancing it with AI-powered analytics, assistants, and automation.
Alyza can be integrated with all widely used CRM and ticketing systems. It connects through standardized APIs, allowing your existing system landscape to remain unchanged. As an intelligent AI layer, Alyza can retrieve data from your systems and feed AI-generated insights—such as conversation summaries, reasons for contact, tags, suggested responses, and other analytical results—back into your CRM or ticketing system. This makes all relevant information available directly within the applications your employees use every day.
Yes. Alyza provides bidirectional APIs for integration into existing system landscapes. Inbound APIs receive customer interactions and relevant metadata for analysis. Outbound APIs return all analytical results and AI-generated insights to CRM, ticketing, BI, and other enterprise systems. The Alyza dashboard visualizes this data and uses the same outbound APIs as other integrated applications.
No. Alyza complements existing telephony, CRM, and contact center solutions and integrates into your current system landscape. Companies can continue using their existing infrastructure.
Alyza’s technical integration can be completed within a few hours. Because Alyza operates as an intelligent AI layer on top of your existing infrastructure, no changes to your current systems are required. In most cases, we only need the necessary access permissions for existing APIs or data sources. This often means that active support from a technician is not even required.
Alyza offers various data transfer options and adapts to your existing IT landscape. Depending on the use case, customer interactions can be imported directly via APIs from telephony, email, or other communication systems. Alternatively, the data can be transferred to Alyza’s private cloud, eliminating the need for a direct connection to your company’s infrastructure. Together, we select the integration method that best meets your technical, organizational, and security requirements.
Yes. Analytical results can be transferred automatically to CRM, ticketing, BI, and other enterprise systems. These results can include conversation summaries, reasons for contact, tags, quality assessments, and other AI-generated insights.
Alyza requires customer interactions and—depending on the use case—additional metadata such as the date, hotline, team, language, or processing status. Together, we determine which information is needed to achieve your objectives. Only the data required for the agreed use cases is processed.
In addition to the customer interactions themselves, Alyza can incorporate a wide range of metadata from existing systems. This can include the hotline, team, location, language, product, processing status, customer group, and other custom information. These details allow analyses to be filtered, compared, and aggregated precisely.
This depends on the intended use cases. Most projects connect telephony, email, chat, CRM, or ticketing systems. Integration is primarily handled through standardized APIs or, alternatively, through secure data exchange with Alyza’s private cloud.
Most telephony and contact center systems already meet the technical requirements for using Alyza. Ideally, calls should be provided as WAV files with a sampling rate of at least 16 kHz, 16-bit PCM, and stereo recording with separate channels for the agent and customer. Mono audio and compressed formats such as MP3 can also be processed but are not recommended. For optimal results, the original audio recordings should be transferred without subsequent format conversion. Alyza can also import metadata such as the call timestamp, agent, team, hotline, queue, language, duration, and other customer-specific information. This allows analyses to be filtered and evaluated precisely and linked with existing systems. Alyza connects via APIs or secure data exchange, without requiring changes to the existing telephony infrastructure.
Automation
Yes. Alyza begins by creating transparency across your existing customer communications. It identifies reasons for contact, conversation flows, objections, knowledge gaps, and suitable automation use cases. Together, we then improve the status quo—for example, through better processes, employee training, contact prevention, and a quality-assured knowledge base. The resulting insights are transferred into playbooks that help train voicebots using real customer inquiries, conversation flows, objections, and resolution paths, enabling suitable use cases to be automated successfully.
Use Cases
Yes. Alyza uses consistent metrics to make the performance of internal teams and external service providers comparable. These can include quality, resolution rates, customer satisfaction, sales performance, SLA compliance, and process adherence. Depending on your objectives, Alyza can help identify quality issues, uncover sales opportunities, automate post-call work, and reduce avoidable customer contacts. The areas prioritized depend on your company’s goals and requirements.
The return on investment depends on the specific use case and the objectives pursued. Typical value drivers include up to 25% fewer customer inquiries, fully automated post-call work, higher service quality, and improved sales results. At the start of the project, we jointly define measurable objectives and support you in continuously tracking and achieving them.
No. Alyza follows a hybrid model in which people and AI work together. AI primarily handles downstream analysis, documentation, and routine tasks, allowing employees to focus on their core strengths: experience, empathy, personal advice, and complex decision-making. In this way, AI supports people rather than replacing them.
Successful automation begins with understanding existing customer communications. Automating inefficient processes only makes poor processes faster—not better. Alyza therefore first creates transparency around contact reasons, process weaknesses, knowledge gaps, and avoidable customer inquiries. Many customer contacts can already be prevented before automation or a voicebot becomes necessary. Only once the status quo has been optimized does Alyza identify the use cases with the greatest potential for automation while providing the ideal knowledge base for designing and implementing a voicebot. This ensures that automation is built on a reliable foundation, delivers significantly greater value, and generates a sustainable return on investment.
Onboarding

More than 25 specialized microservices work together – from transcription and anonymization to AI-powered analysis. Each processing step uses the technology best suited to the task, delivering reliable insights from every customer interaction.
Alyza uses modern generative AI to understand the context of an entire customer conversation. Instead of analyzing individual keywords, the AI evaluates the full conversation and identifies the actual reason for the contact. This enables reliable classification of contact reasons and gives companies a solid basis for improving processes, products and customer communication.
Alyza analyzes only the anonymized transcript of a customer conversation. Generative AI evaluates word choice, conversation context, phrasing and dialogue patterns to determine the sentiment of the conversation. Biometric characteristics such as voice, tone or speaking speed are not analyzed. This provides companies with privacy-friendly, transparent insights into the customer experience.
AI detects escalations based on critical language and the progression of the conversation. Difficult customer interactions are automatically identified and prioritized. This allows companies to respond faster and continuously improve service quality.
Alyza analyzes all customer interactions and visualizes the results in clear dashboards. Recurring customer issues are automatically clustered by topic, contact reason or tag. This makes patterns and trends visible at a glance, helping companies identify the causes of recurring contacts and address them sustainably.
Generative AI understands the full context of a customer conversation and automatically creates a structured summary. It identifies the key topics, outcomes and agreed next steps without requiring manual documentation. This reduces documentation effort and provides companies with consistent, high-quality conversation summaries.
Generative AI analyzes the full conversation context and understands the customer’s needs and intent. Based on the conversation and relevant domain knowledge, it identifies suitable cross-selling and upselling opportunities as well as other sales potential. This makes sales opportunities automatically visible and enables teams to act on them systematically.
Generative AI understands the full context of a customer conversation and evaluates its quality based on proven criteria. Alyza can also be tailored to your company’s specific quality standards by defining evaluation criteria and examples of good and poor conversations. The AI then evaluates each customer interaction against these criteria, providing detailed assessments and aggregated insights at product, service line, team or company level.

The identified opportunities are validated and prioritized together with your business teams before voicebots or automated workflows are implemented.
Alyza analyzes every customer interaction and works with your subject-matter experts to identify potentially avoidable inquiries. These include issues that could be resolved through self-service, better information or optimized processes without requiring direct contact with customer service. AI automatically flags these interactions and makes them transparent in the dashboard. This allows companies to take targeted action and continuously measure progress by tracking the development of avoidable customer contacts.
Alyza turns customer interactions into valuable company knowledge. AI identifies recurring questions, problems and solutions and automatically suggests new knowledge entries. After review and approval by your employees, this creates a continuously growing, quality-assured Knowledge Base based on real customer service interactions.
At the start of a project, Alyza typically achieves an analysis accuracy of 85–90% – without historical training. During implementation, we validate the results together with your subject-matter experts and continuously optimize the AI setup based on real customer interactions. This improves analysis quality over time and enables a high level of accuracy in production. Final accuracy depends on the specific use case and the individually defined evaluation criteria.
